THE FIRST VLOG OF THE SUMMER! | Australia vlog
WELCOME TO THE FIRST SUMMER VLOG! If you've been here for a while you'd know that summer is my favourite season. Everything about It makes me feel alive - the beach, the acai bowls, the tan!! That first lick of ice cream on a 30-degree day, the colourful bikinis 😍 I could go on and on but I'll let the video do the explaining.
I THRIVE in summer and I know many of you do too, that's why I'm going to be sharing as many of my adventures with you guys these holidays, to give you some ideas for you and your friends.
On day 1 we went to Phillip Island!
here's some info about it (Chels and I emphasised on it in the video, that's for sure)
Phillip Island is home to Victoria’s first National Surfing Reserve and some of the best surf spots in Victoria.
Phillip Island offers visitors the chance to see incredible Australian wildlife amongst spectacular landscapes. The Penguin Parade, Koala Conservation Centre, Churchill Island Heritage Farm and Nobbies Centre are just a few of the island's unique attractions.
After our two hour drive from Melbourne City, we arrived to Woolamai Beach and had some lunch by the kiosk. Then we headed down to soak up the sun and spotted quite a few surfers on the way. Swimming in the ocean was very refreshing and exactly what I needed to feel energised! Ale, Chels and I also went around in turns to say what we're grateful for in that moment. I love expressing gratitude because it invites positive energies and reinforces good values. We interviewed some guys from schoolies (Shoutout to Jai and Hugh) and then did a hike! We took film photos, watched the sunset and almost got eaten alive by a scary animal on our walk back x
The next morning we were running ERRANDS. It was hectic, we all went to different stores to get breakfast, Ale and Chels stopped by their hotel to pick up a few things, I needed my vegan protien ball... we finally then began the drive and our first stop was Finlay's house to pick up her and Olivia! After a nice drive looking out at the cows (And saying 'moo' non-stop), we finally arrived at The Pillars in Mount Martha! This used to be an insider spot but then everyone started posting about it on tiktok hahaha
We met some guys who were on a school excursion (I think we made it to the newsletter) and just enjoyed watching people jump. The water there is SO BLUE it is insane. I'm still shocked that this exists in Melbourne. ]]
For lunch, we got pizza at La Sorella by Twisted Sista. (They were so nice and let me choose exactly what I wanted on my pizza) It was delicious!
We then went to a Quarry. The girls said it looks like it's straight out of a Twilight episode. I did jump this time (even though I was told not to by my eye doctors) but I'm all good now so yay! After dropping everyone off, Ale and I met up with our friend Abby to eat some churros at St Kilda beach.
We had a jam-packed two days. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! and I hope this adventure day becomes a tradition.
