Farnham The Drunks Most Disturbing Voice Line Was Removed

Today we will be exploring, perhaps the most disturbing voice line, you've never heard from Farnham the drunk.

If asking a Diablo 1 fasn the most memorable quest line
Outside slaying the Lord of Terror, most folks fondly recall their first encounter with the Butcher.

From the wounded townsman that would plea for your aid, outside the cathedral steps.

To the Warrior vowing to avenge him.

And the Overlord demon Butcher declaring meat was back on the menu

But perhaps more disturbing, was the savagery he personally wrought on many of the townsfolk,
And we learn it was Farnhams encounter that made him take up the drink.

However, that is only part one of Farnhams recollection
Originally there was cut content where the quest was broken into two parts.

Finding the corpse filled room of horror, to which there was a cutscene removed.

And then using a red portal to the butcher lair.

And this is where things get dark, if the Butchers nightmare durance wasn't bloody enough,
Farnham will fitfully further recall his encounter with the demon.
