Aesthetic Fashion Editorial Trailer

This 60-second video is an editorial-styled fashion video highlighting aesthetically sustainable and long-lasting fashion garments. This one-minute video is an introduction and/trailer to the following Lookbook video. You will see garments that have sustained time over the last few decades, which include a white button-up/blouse, a basic white t-shirt, denim jeans, converse sneakers, trench inspired coat, and the classic little black dress. These are pieces of clothing that can be found in almost any women’s closet and can be dressed up, dressed down, and mixed and matched with each other.
The techniques used to create these two short fashion films, varied from camera shots, camera angles, and a few editing effects. For the majority of the filming, I had to film and art direct all of the shots using just my tripod, and camera as I could not find anyone to model. I had to film a lot of still shots and therefore needed to vary the angles and height of the camera. I also ensured that each outfit was filmed at a different location to ensure my film imagery was interesting and engaging. Additionally, in Adobe Premiere Pro I was able to create the effects of both Pan and Zoom shots with a few quick and easy editing techniques, and also added some simple dissolve transitions between clips to add a nice effortless flow to keep the films from feeling stagnant/static.
