Captain Amarinder Singh has resigned as chief minister of Punjab hours before a meeting of the state's Congress Legislative Party (CLP). Speaking to reporters after submitting his resignation to the Governor, Amarinder Singh said he was 'feeling humiliated' as a result of the actions of the party high command.
